Fitness | Exercise

Fitness is derived from ‘fit’, fit for survival.

Fitness also means physical exercise in a fitness centre (or sports club) in your home or outdoors, on your own – with or without a partner or a group – or with a trainer / coach.

Physical fitness is about cardiovascular exercise, coordination, strength and flexibility.
Mental fitness is positive thinking and problemsolving, focusing (concentrating) and relaxing.

This blog is about fitness for performance and better life experience with a healthy, ‘working’ body. About fitness, exercise, training and more; elements, means and methods. For better workouts with faster and better results; optimal performance with minimal ‘effort’ and minimal risk of injuries.

The blog has text, pictures and infographics.

  1. Great post! I love how you’ve highlighted the holistic approach to fitness—balancing physical and mental fitness is so important for overall well-being. For those undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT), fitness plays a key role in maximizing the benefits of the treatment. Regular cardiovascular and strength exercises can help improve energy levels, maintain muscle mass, and enhance overall mood, which are often areas impacted by hormonal changes. Pairing HRT with a thoughtful fitness routine, like the ones you describe, can truly lead to a better life experience. Thanks for sharing these valuable insights!
